Hiking – Blue Grouse GGCSP 06/30/16

The Blue Grouse trail in Golden Gate Canyon State Park is only 0.8 miles and intersects with the Mule Deer trail. It starts at Kriley Pond which is quite often crowded on the weekends so when I had an opportunity to hike it on a Thursday, well I jumped at the chance. Puppy and I were the only ones on the trail the whole time. The trail is rated as moderate and doesn’t have any technical rocks or roots. It’s smooth dirt surface is perfect when you don’t feel like pushing it.
